We played a fun "substitute" one-day tournament today in place of our originally scheduled two-day Individual Eclectic. Each player recorded her individual score with tournament rules (play the ball down), and at the end we drew numbers to establish two-lady teams. Each team's gross scores and net scores were added together to determine the low gross and low net winners.

This is a WLGA-sponsored tournament (no entry fee) with a $200 purse in which each member of the winning gross team and the winning net team won $50. Thanks to assistant pro Kaitlyn James for making the day extra fun with the leaderboard.

The Pink Ball is a three-person A-B-C team tournament with one best-ball net recorded on each hole, plus the net score of the Pink Ball played on each hole by a designated team member. The entry fee prize is split between the team winning Low Net and the team with the Pink Ball low net. If a team loses its Pink Ball, it is out of competition for that prize.

The Hot Mama is a two-person team game with one best-ball gross and one best-ball net recorded for each hole. Cash prizes are awarded for the teams winning low gross and low net, and for chip-ins, if any. Since we had a smaller than usual field this year it was not played as a full tournament, the entry fee was only $6 per player, with the pot split in thirds.
